It was a whirlwind of fun (and stress) in epic proportions….of course I’m talking about the fall ORC office/classroom project which you can tour here. In the spirit of sharing the love I wanted to give you info on where all the different pieces and elements came from so YOU can have them in your home too!
The forces of the sources…..Let’s take this bad boy space and break it on down.
Here’s the original moodboard, my jumping point for the entire space.
How about we start with the big feature wall?!
The paintings are the gorgeous work of my friend Mary Catheryn from Copper Corners Art, this was a custom collaboration between myself and the fab MC. BUT you can order your own custom work or buy prints here! She has also done my deer art and Mom’s Oasis art!!
The 19th century french doors are from a local antique dealer but you can check out places like ebay, etsy and sometimes even craigslist!
Here’s our window with the desk.
The desk is a diy project we made using an antique storefront door found at a local flea. Check out how we did it here!
The stripped bench is from the same antique shop the doors came from, it’s an antique english windsor bench. Try ebay, craigslist and first dibs!
How about those chairs?? They are an acrylic victorian style and I found them at my local TJMaxx on clearance. BUT you can also find them on Amazon as a set of 2 and here is the direct link!
The curtains and throw are from World Market. I love them as they give some drama without being over the top. They are the Black Flocked Grommet Top.
The items on top of the desk are animal vases from Anthropologie I already had, and vintage pieces from local fleas.
The seating across from the desk with the luscious materials of velvet, brass, marble and antique glass.
Starting with the wall, that mirror is an antique also a local flea find. And you can find similar large flowers at Hobby Lobby!
The sofa is the Forest Green Samara Sofa from World Market! Remember to watch for sales, they have them often!!
The marble nesting coffee tables I used are also from World Market, but they are currently out of stock. Sooooo here are a couple of great stand in options. A large round single coffee table called the Leavenworth marble coffee table from Anthropologie that is very similar. This one was actually in the running for me although I ultimately decided on the nesting tables for space saving convenience.
And here is a small set, the Messina Nesting Side Tables from West Elm.
All of the pillows on the sofa are from Marshalls and Home Goods.
The chippy gold frame was another local flea find, and I already had the outdoor wreath and textured animal head. The bench is another already owned piece which I reupholstered in an embossed leather a year ago. The white vases are from Home Goods as are the 2 pillows on the left with the green marble pillow being from World Market!
The paper chandelier is another diy project and you can read all about it here! I just added some twinkle lights for a whimsical addition.
The rug! The last piece of the puzzle that pulls it ALL together.
It’s the Chroma Rosy Floral Rug from RugsUSA! Great pricing, gorgeous color and style….you just can’t beat it. Even our pups go in here by themselves to lay on it!
I think that about covers it! This room was such an awesome, challenging and creative experience. I thoroughly love it and the feeling of whimsicality it evokes when you see it and enter the space.
